HP – Color LaserJet CP5225 up to 20ppm A3 (CE710A#B19)

This is a great color printer and has great quality prints.

I needed a laser printer that could easily print high quality tabloid size paper and this fit the bill. The bonus is that it also prints on both sides of the paper, so it is easy to print projects (large format music scores) on both sides for binding. It is large and heavy (get some help moving it into place!) and the motor is noisy (I turn it off when not in use) but otherwise, this is an excellent choice for my needs.

The printer is working well. Good in black and white. Good in color. Quiet. Fast. Hopefully it will continue to work well for years to come. MF

I was recommended this printer by a friend. I found the set up of the CP5225 very difficult. Print quality is ok but not as good as a similar priced Xerox I saw the other day. I will probably upgrade the machine later this year as we are now printing a lot more.

We needed to find a printer to print fairly high quantities of colour A3 twice a year. We chose this printer party because we like HP printers and partly because of it's reasonable price. After a bit of tinkering we got set the colour levels and are happy with the results. The printer will have easily paid for itself in the first year, so we're very happy with it.
