It’s brilliant and not breaking the bank either. It focuses on building little working contraptions controlled by gears. So kids begin to get an understanding of engineering as well as having fun building Lego.

Great set of Lego. The instructions are easy to follow as they’re all pictures but some younger children may need some adult help. The kids love being able to turn the cogs and seeing the characters turn around. Great for helping kids to practise their fine motor skills as well.

My 5 year old absolutely loved this! Inside comes a couple of books with design ideas and the bricks are in individually numbered bags, so you can follow the instructions. It really was great fun to do together and help him learn how to follow instructions. This set is to build all things that move around such as a helicopter, some swimming fish, a piano and much more. It really is a pretty good set to have in your lego collection. My son certainly wasn’t disappointed anyway.

This set is great, it’s a very good little set as an introduction to Lego moving parts.

This set is a fantastic introduction to adding movement to Lego models. Each mini model teaches a separate type of movement. The included splat gears are friendly to small hands and older people with arthritis. You can build all the models on the box at the same time, and there is a separate bag of more parts to encourage experimentation. The set was great value for money even before it was discounted. There is a large variety of useful parts in attractive colours.
