The helicopter was simple to assemble in 10-15 minutes with 6 yr old, dad and grandpa. Everyone tried pulling the cord. The 1st pull usually didn't have enough speed to it and heli went straight down. Everyone pulled with higher speed on each pull after the 1st pull. The heli nearly hovered or it landed softer depending on the force of their pull. We never had the nerve to see if we could get heli to rise. Mostly the heli landed in an upright position. The assembly stayed in place and never came apart when it landed. The heli always stayed balanced after we pulled and let go, it never leaned into an off balanced position.

Not what I expected. Flimsy helicopter made of plastic. The mechanism doesn't work at all. I would not recommend this to anyone
