I bought this dinosaur set for my kid, and it turned out to be a really fun and engaging build. The dinosaur looks great once completed, and the building process kept my kid entertained throughout. The overall experience is positive, though finding it on a slight discount would make the value proposition truly unbeatable. As a small suggestion for future releases, it would be wonderful if LEGO included a couple more spare pieces for the tiny, crucial parts building with kids means tiny elements can easily wander off, so a few extra key pieces would be a great safety net. All in all, a solid, enjoyable dinosaur set that looks great on display and brings plenty of building fun.

We got this set for a roadtrip vacation and it was absolutely perfect. The velociraptor was super fun to build and play with. The pterodactyl is also fun. The best part is you can take it apart and build again. It even gave me something to do when I was taking a driving break! When my son was playing with it, the arms and head came off, but it was no big deal. The only knock on the finished product is that the neck and head on the raptor were a little awkward. Overall, would definitely recommend!

The builds are enjoyable. I find, the majority of the time anyways, that these 3-in-1 sets are the only Lego sets where the price (usually) is reasonable for what you get in the box. We have another 3-in-1 dinosaur set (31058) and my son likes having the 2 interact. The raptor build is pretty delicate though.

I got this for my partner who loved putting it together. He said the instructions were easy to follow but it was intricate enough to be fun. As people who like saving space in our home and hate clutter, it’s awesome that he there are two more dinosaurs to build from the same set! This would be a great family activity with a kiddo. His only critique was that the kit was missing two pieces and for a 41 year-old he would have enjoyed one that was a little larger or more complex.
