LEGO Icons Dyyni Atreides Royal Ornithopter 10327

This set was an absolute pleasure to build and on display it looks just amazing. The developers really went all out with the technical parts of it. This set is and will remain one of my favorites of all time, adaam reshi a'zantha.

I love the design. The Ornithopter wings—while slightly delicate and prone to warping—look great. The cockpit and landing gear design, though, are WAY too delicate even for display purposes, never mind play. 90-degree angle mounts, an entire canopy held by two studs, and a Technic-articulated set of landing gear make this very impressive, but incredibly delicate. Tight tolerances and tenuous mounting mean that just moving from build area to display may require a lot of rework. I applaud the engineering, but it doesn’t feel like this was play-teated.

Hetki on viime kerrasta kun olin ostanut yhtä suuren setin. Tämä kuitenkin yllätti positiivisesti. Hienot minifiguurit ja suurempi valmis setti kun osasin odottaa. Ainoana miinuksena keksisin punaiset technic osat siipien mekanismeissa. Eivät sovi väreihin ja legolla löytyy samat osat mustana tai harmaina.

As a long term lover of the Dune books, with this being reignited by the recent cinematic adaptations the Ornithopter has always been a key Dune vehicle and the version in the latest films has really been brought to life so when Lego produced this version it was always a must have and I have not been disappointed with the additional ability to operate the wings, fold the wings and retract the landing gear and ramp it is an amazing version of the on screen vehicle. If you are a fan of the Dune series then I think this is a must and even if you are you will not be disappointed.

Love the game and love the Lego sett❤️❤️ hopefully more dune awakening sets come out just love the build super creative and everything was just to perfection. Can’t wait to see more DUNE sets to come
