This was a great build and looks amazing! I love the feel of turning the knobs and the radio sounds it makes. Everything is awesome! Very fun! The only thing I wish it could do to make it better is that instead of the compartment to put your phone in it, it should be a little bigger so you could put a small Bluetooth speaker inside it! That would make this one of the best Lego sets ever because you could actually use it like a speaker then.

I took 5 evenings to build this Lego. Had to restart a few items due to my fault...not yours. I found that the item was not held together well, As the build went foward, I had to be vey careful on how to handle the radio. Things would fall off often so that delayed the build. Once finished it looks GREAT. However I may need to redue some of the volume and station buttons soon as the radio is not working to my likeing. Something seems to be sticking in the gears. Will work on that this coming winter. The build was a tough one for me but very very fun.. This is my 50th build but irst as a 18+ build. Take your time and you should be fine.

I've loved every build I've ever done except 2, and this is 1 of them. I very nearly threw the build across the room. I'm an extremely calm person, I manage to find the humor in nearly everything. I know that this is not a big deal so after I write this review it's over. I just hope to relieve somebody else of this disaster. Be aware.

I had so much fun building this set. I was a little hesitant because of some people complaining about the sound box. But I decided to buy it because it was the look of the set that grabbed me. The sound box was just extra. And i figured I had a SIL that could help me with it if needed. It was needed. But after he got it working and went home I started playing with it again. I thought I broke it because the sound box was not working. I had the radio turned off! I just assumed the on/off switch was just decorative. The booklet didn't say anything about that and I wonder if that was the cause of some of the poor reviews. I hope this helps others.

I was looking forward to building this halfway through you start to realise how good it is and brings back the excitement of Lego to rush to the end to see it finished. The sound block is brilliant dials on /off button probably one of the best I’ve built and also has a phone holder so you can play your music as if it was a real Radio. The problem is getting it back off my wife, cause she loves it
