LEGO ONE PIECE Merirosvolaiva Going Merry 75639

I've been a Lego fan for over 15 years, and I've built sets that ranged from $10 to $500, and while I am certainly biased since I like One Piece just as much as Lego, this is absolutely one of the best sets I've bought thus far. My only complaint is that the price, being $140, is somewhat steep for the size of the ship itself; however, this being a licensed anime set, the price is somewhat justified. Despite that, if you ever see this set on sale for $100 or under, do not think twice, and BUY IT.

Usually I like to keep reviews positive but this one has annoyed me from beginning. First not sticker sheet, had to send off to get stickers sent and they arrived week and half later. Then the black jolly Roger flag pieces missing and again had to send out to get pieces again. This build has left a sour taste in my mouth and I am just going to stop the build and put it back in closet. Its been incredibly annoying.

I'm 35 and this was my first build. It was easy enough but still satisfying. The final build is gorgeous!

My first one piece set, I went for this set as it has the main crew and although new to the one piece universe, I know how iconic the going merry is. The build itself was interesting especially since most of my collection is Star Wars. At times frustrating, especially that last piece of deck you slot in. The minifigures in this set are amazing, the detail and printing on arms and legs is something I can appreciate. From what I’ve seen, across the board, the one piece minifigures set the bar high. The going merry makes a great display piece and is great value if like me you’re able to find it at 20% off. Highly reccomend!

Very dissapointed to receive duplicate wanted posters. I contacted LEGO, they advised me to ‘trade’ with other customers. Very shocked at this response, eBay and Vinted are selling them at a huge price - super disappointed. Would not have purchased if I had known!
