LEGO Technic 42179 on koulutuksellinen malli, jossa on 526 osaa ja joka esittelee Maan ja Kuun kiertoradan Auringon ympäri. Fun build and a great educational tool! While not a perfect replica, it’s excellent for demonstrating the moon phases. I do wish it came with printed bricks instead of stickers, since they are hard to align perfectly. Overall, I highly recommend it for fostering inquisitive young minds.

I purchased this set as my son is getting i to engineering and I thought it would be a simple way to introduce him to a simple cog and gear system but its a bit too simple, would have been better as a solar system (perhaps this could be an add on set?) Its a small build for the cost it would be more a £40/50 set than a£70

The moon phase stickers are wrong and there is no way to rearrange them to the correct order. It would have been simple to either research the moon phases or make the stickers so they could be put in the correct order. It's infuriating. It was pretty simple to build and the instructions are clear. The ratios are pretty good and appreciate that the earth has an axial tilt. Would have been better if the sun was an actual build and not just two parts.
