Although item was warehouse and expected some cosmetic fault, one foot was broken off, the Toaster was in the cardboard box only without polystyrene and dent in the back. Sent back.

I loved this product - had it for 3 years then one of the elements stopped working. Had it replaced at significant expense and a couple of months later the lever decided it no longer wanted to stay down. Could hold it down manually and would still toast but not exactly the style classic we had hoped! So, very sadly, it’s heading for recycling and we are replacing it with a cheap alternative. Won’t be buying Magimix again.

I wondered if this would toast bread properly or just dry it out due to taking too long to brown it. How wrong I was. My old toaster took as long as my kettle took to boil water, this one does it in half the time. Excellent stuff!

I purchased this toaster 4 1/2 years ago to replace a 20 year old Dualit model. Unfortunately it has not passed the test of time and now requires replacement. I will not be buying another and will go back to a Dualit. I was attracted to this model by the vision feature and its quality appearance. It's actual performance however has been somewhat of a disappointment. Negative Points 1. It toasts very unevenly. This can be helped a little by pre-warming. 2. DIfficult to clean completely. Burn marks can occur inside and look unsightly. The doubled wall glass sides are a particular problem even thoughy they hinge open for access. 3. The plastic buttons are prone to wear and the coating with graphic will wear off over time 4. Takes as much room as 4-slice toaster and just as heavy 5. With daily use it soon looses its visual looks Positve points 1. Looks nice when new 2. Sides open for internal access to aid cleaning 3. Can monitor the progress of toast

I bought this toaster with a matching magimix kettle 2 years ago The kettle expired 12 months ago And now the toaster has joined it ! The covers are cheap alloy not stainless steel The toast doesn't cook evenly and takes twice as long to cook compared to a cheap branded 2 slice toaster The crumb tray is wafer thin and bends easily The glass side are impossible to clean properly The stop button is very flimsy and broke within a month it is only secured by two wafer thin plastic tabs Poor quality & bad design at an over inflated price !
