Upgraded our toaster from previous cheaper purchases to a Smeg. No more turning it upside down and shaking it to try to get out trapped chunks of bread that are too big for the crumb tray! No longer that familiar smell of acrid smoke when the crust has stuck to the element and starts burning! Evenly toasted bread. Aesthetically pleasing on our worktop. I use it for homemade bread, which tends to be unevenly sliced, and it's a huge improvement on any of the toasters I've used before. No regrets!
