The Honor 70 is a mid-range smartphone that looks anything but. Sleek and stylish with a big vibrant screen, solid performance and incredible battery life you get a lot for your money here even if it's got a few faults like the lack of wireless charging and the underwhelming digital zoom on the camera.

The CES show in the USA is where a lot of technology gets launched however the show made a big thing of not inviting certain big players this year as their support for Ukraine holds firm. There are still a good number of new offerings around launched at about the same time but not actually in the CES show. Technically this SmartPhone was launched in 2022 but only now have I been offered one to review.

The Honor 70 is an attractive phone with good specs for the price, particularly in the camera, processor and design departments - it feels like a premium phone in most ways. Sure its design may be divisive, but the main drawbacks - like the lack of a telephoto camera or wireless charging - are things you don’t really expect from a mid-range phone anyway.
