Honor has put together a compelling package in the Magic 5 Pro. It's beefed up the battery and strengthened its camera arrangement compared to the previous model. Of everything, however, it's the super-bright screen that's my favourite feature. But it's not a perfect device: some software irks hold it back and the design won't be for everyone either. But the price point is compelling, which is where Honor has been savvy.

This is the latest offering from Honor the Magic5Pro. Like almost all recent mobile phones the emphasis is on the cameras and what they can do both in photo and video mode. Not so long ago a units cameras were hidden away in one corner of the back, now they are spread out, here they are in a large circle taking the top 6cm of the phones back.
