wet n wild Blush Brush

This is great for buffing in powder foundation or setting powder. Its very soft and quite fluffy. Some reviews say its prickly so I'm guessing they improved the brush quality by the time I got it because I cant relate. I use it daily to buff loose powder on top of my sunscreen, and then to finish with powder foundation. Its not my favorite for blush because its not very precise; but you can apply blush in circular or sweeping motions and it doesn't look terrible, it just covers too much ground imho. Better for people with large faces or faces with prominent, high cheekbones that can carry a high placement of blush. I always end up looking like a clown with this one. If I lost it I would repurchase it. I use it everyday. Took a lippie off because the barrel sheds the white color it has.

I have the large face brush, and I bought it just because it was pretty, but it’s a really nice brush, especially for blending and diffusing face powders and blush. It’s a soft, wide, rounded dome. The bristles are shallow, but very soft, fairly dense, and seem to be of very good quality for such an inexpensive brush. I would buy it again, but I think this was a limited edition.

When I first saw this, I wanted it; but when I looked again, I thought that the long "stem" (handle) looked awkward and strange. But I finally gave in, and am glad I did! I wear cream blush most days, and this is the best brush for blending it that I've ever found (my previous faves were RT Expert and ecotools Wonder Color). Something about the dense, but not too dense, round shape, blends cream blush like a dream. I like to add a couple of dots of cream blush, then blend with a brush. (Note that you can mix shades right on the face, just make sure you use the same ratio for both cheeks.) Highly recommend for cream blush application. The WnW site says this can work for powders as well; I have not used it for that. Oh, and while I do think the shape and handle are kinda cutesy, it works quite well, and doesn't affect my use of it.

This review is for the long handled white version with the pink tipped bristles. The bristles are synthetic and incredibly soft, and the brush looks pretty. That’s about where the positives end. The brush head is too soft and thinly packed to pick up powder. I have to dig into the compact and apply repeatedly to get any pigment to show up on. It blends okay but its wide, fanned out shape spreads the blush along a much greater area than the natural apples of the cheeks. The brush might be greatly improved if it were denser. As is, it’s practically useless.
