Bought one at B&Q (Tunbridge Wells) today (15/10/2018) for £28.00 Te verify their price was correct, I showed them the Screwfix catalogue where it was far more expensive and was assured £28 really WAS the correct price at B&Q

Stopped working after 3 days. Difficult to fins a decent return process. Now int he garbage. Not worth the price.

I've used the Stanley Distance Laser Measure for years, it's durable against dropping and has NEVER needed replacement. They work so well they often "disappear" from the office so when I need to purchase more I will only buy this brand and go out of my way to do so. After trying other brands and having to return them because they have annoying features like timing out, beeping, and a unit measurement reference location that automatically resets after a few minutes (which is the WORST feature), Stanley brand is honestly the BEST! It's the simplest to use and the screen does not time out on you, I would recommend this to anyone needing one!
