It makes quick work of chopping onions. No more tears! There are many blades for all sorts of cutting and chopping. I recently processed cabbage and carrot for colesaw. Done in no time! Also like the storage container for the blades and the option of the smaller bowl.

I’ve owned this food processor for several years. I use it very infrequently (maybe once every two months). I take extremely good care of it and wash it by hand after every use. However, just like other reviewers, a crack has developed at the base of the bowl near where the gear attaches to the motor. This is such a huge disappointment after investing a lot of money into this premium food processor and taking extremely good care of it. There is obviously a design flaw in this bowl given that so many people have experienced this problem. Breville, please fix this for us so we can enjoy your otherwise great product!

we bought this based on rave reviews, but it sparked the moment it was plugged in and switched on. when contacting with breville customer support, they said the warranty was voided because the product was shipped (by Breville!) to outside the country. to double confirm - Breville shipped the product outside US to us and claimed product warranty is voided because it was shipped outside US

My husband bought this for me to replace an older one, and I absolutely despise it. I use it mainly to make homemade hummus on a regular basis, so just mushing up beans basically, and the bowl has cracked 4 times. There has to be some kind of design flaw causing this, and I strongly suggest against buying this for that reason. You will need to replace the bowl often, and it's been a huge pain to find one available/in stock, aside from the added expense. Just buy something else!
