Amazing Little saw. I purchased for myself but I cannot keep it out of my wife's hands. Saw is very easy to use, light weight, and not scary like a similar size 2 stroke. It does not leak as much oil as my other saws when in storage. I definitely would recommend this saw over many other battery powered brands and models. Spend the money on this one and don't waste your time or money with others. It just cuts!

Excellent saw for the price. I was hesitant to try a battery powered saw but have been pleased with its performance. Battery holds up well and charges fast. Has as much or more power than a similar sized gas saw.

This saw has been my go to for pruning the past couple days since I bought it. Battery life is decent with a 300 series battery. Chain speed is okay, not super, but fast enough. The saw feels very heavy in the hand. The chain doesn't seem to want to stay tight or get tight when adjusting it. The chain was a major annoyance to try and put on for the fist time. It is difficult to line up in the track on the bar and tighten down. It is also rather expensive. The gas variant is way cheaper which actually has an engine. This doesn't feel like a pro saw to me like the 540i does. There is no filter cover for the electric motor like on the 540i. Despite it's short comings I still find myself using it over the T540 or T540i for pruning. Given the high price tag I would expect a more refined tool. I would give it a 3.5 stars if half stars were an option.

This little saw packs a punch. This is the 3rd one of these I have purchased, but the first with the new .043 and .325 mini chain. The smaller kerf definitely allows it to cut better! The only thing that sucks is now I have to buy a whole new set of chains and try to keep them separate in my saw box!
