Husqvarna T540i XP Akkumoottorisaha-paketti

I bought this saw in August of 2025 and it was very nice and powerful. Using the saw was very satisfying. I got it with a 16" bar and at times I was very nearly able to cut a whole tree down with 2 Bli200 batteries. After 16 days the saw quit working. The saw would no longer turn on. I took it in for service at a certified Husqvarna dealer and they said there was a problem with one of the battery connection terminals being bent inside the housing. I never got any definitive proof of that, just verbal claims. That chainsaw disappeared from the world through the dealer and I never found any record of what happened to it. After many months and working with the better business bureau I got a new T540i chainsaw. I will be watching the battery terminals closely to see if Husqvarna did indeed incorporate a design failure when it comes to the battery terminals.

Let me start off by saying this is the first electric chainsaw I've purchased. I have a 100ft Maple Tree I need to climb and I wanted to take the leap (not literally) into the electric saw world. The reviews have been great from what I've seen on YouTube. The weight, and no loud exhaust is what sold me. My first time using it I was speechless. It was like a lightsaber, seriously. It has full tongue and cut through the 14in Maple branch like butter (now I want pancakes). I am truly impressed and giggled like a kid in a candy shop as I proceeded to cut all the branches around me. I wasn't paid for this review, I'm a cheap guy with 6 acres in the woods that needs the best tools to make my life easier. If you're contemplating buying this saw, take the leap, you won't regret it.

Perfect little capable chainsaw for homesteading and overlanding. Rips right through anything.

Great saw for tree climbers. Twice the motor speed that all lower models.
