Brilliant bit of kit, wasn’t expecting it to be as powerful as it is but it has exceeded my expectations. If you are wanting a chainsaw for light use this makita 36v won’t disappoint you.

Considering it's electric, it doesnt have less power. Slices through the wood cleanly, im quite impressed.

Only used it a couple of times but made loads of cuts and batteries (I went for the 6.0ah) still have loads of juice left. The set up guide could be better - there is the occasionally poorly constructed sentence.

Cracking bit of kit, I have used chainsaws for many years and never thought a battery unit would do the same job, it’s so powerful and much safer, certainly when at height. It’s also lighter, still comes with all the safety features that you would expect, well worth the money.
