G.Skill 16GB DDR3-1600, 16 GB, 2 x 8 GB, DDR3, 1600 MHz, 240-pin DIMM (F3-1600C9D-16GAR)

Installed this as the second channel of RAM (32GB total) for the media server/player. Works like a charm. CD/DVD ripping transcoding and file format conversions run noticeably faster than when it was running 16MB RAM. Media server/player uses a stock Core i7-3770 processor running JRiver Media Center, dB Poweramp Suite and a few others.

Didn't memory test it but hopefully it works for years :) went from 4gb of slow memory to this and saw a huge performance increase

Something to keep in mind is that if you purchase 2 of these kits to run together or combined it with another kit it may not run as you expect. Different kits may run together but arent designed to and may require different timings and higher voltage to do so. I.E When i first put these in with my old ripjaw 8gb kit i had it wouldnt boot, i had them on seperate channels and 1.5v, i then switched it so 1 of these and one of my old sticks are in each channel with each other (8gb+4gb in each channel) with the Ares as the main one in each channel and it worked perfectly. long story short when combining kits you may have to fiddle with them a bit to get them to work, its not the rams fault they simply arent designed to work together unless you buy them all as a kit.

Put these 8x2 with the 4x2 I had and everything is good. Video games love it.
