Broke 5 months, computer crashed then CPU did not post j4 months after neweggs return policy expires, shopping on newegg in my experience is very much a buyer beware senerrio because newegg WILL SELL YOU JUNK. Look for deals elsewhere unless you know exactly what product and brand name your dealing with. I'm out the price I paid for this junk engineered to break and had to pay premium price locally to get my computer working again.

I don't OC or anything so this works well for my PC build that I have now. Will buy another for 16gb total soon

If you bought this module looking to create a souped up rig for the latest games you're looking in the wrong place. However, for a budget system that will work out of the box this is for you.

I do not overclock anything. These stick are solid and stable. Can't beat the value for a CAS 9 stick.

Bought as part of "combo deal" and it olny worked part of the time. I was thinking I had a defective power supply in the case or the motherboard itself. Turned out it was this memory stick. I've always had great results with G-Skill but this is their "value" series and I wouldn't recommend it. I replaced this stick with their 1600 (higher speed) Ripjaws series memory and everything worked great. Sure made building a new system more difficult than I had hoped, but that's the risk I took when I decided to build my own syste.
