I have no problem with the Gloss Optimizer itself, but sometimes my older R1800 takes a few passes across the paper to stop some purple banding that comes from the gloss optimizer. I have to manually clean the printer sponges to get rid of excess optimizer; when the printer clears itself, the gloss optimizer adds a nice coating and brilliance to the Epson luster paper. So, I like it.

Its nice to find this ink on special since it can be a little pricey. Pretty good quality though and definitely worth it.

I ordered two of these so I would not run out for awhile, as the local brick and mortar was out. When these arrived, I found that these were two packs * is less than the single packs here! Great Buy.
