HP – DesignJet T630 36inch Printer 2025 (5HB11D#B19)

I print fine art digital paintings and traditional art photography and this printer does not disappoint. Yes, its a 4 color printer, not a 6 or more color fine art printer, but it seems to make no difference to my eye for my work. This printer is FAST and quiet. Go slow setting it up as the directions are confusing in places. ONE POINT OF CAUTION: if you wish to print on canvaswith this particular printer, the MAX thickness this printer will allow is 11.9 MILL. I bought the HP canvas thinking it would work since I couldn't find any specific info online anywhere and it severely jammed under the printhead due to the fact it is 19 Mil thick. I did find a 200GSM roll here on Amazon that is 11 Mil thick that works beautifully. search Amazon AISN B0997QV6R7

Purchased this to print Autocad and Solidworks Drawings. Works good so far. We print some of the drawings in 1:1 scale and use then for drilling locations iof electrical sub-panels without the need to measure and mark on the panels, we just tape on the 1:1 and dink & drill. For our purpose the accuracy of the 1:1 print is good.

Easy stand assembly and printer set-up. Only issue was I originally tried to use a 300ft roll of paper and it was too heavy for the roller. After speaking with HP support, it was determined that the paper roll could not exceed 150ft long. Once the paper was replaced with an appropriate length roll, it worked flawlessly.

Plotter Jams, Called HP. Was told they don't sell that plotter anymore. Basically unusable at this point

the apps as previously stated are non starters. This plotter was 3k and is a total loss for my workforce. IT just gave up in the config to Solidwor** I strongly recommend not buying this unit, or any other HP plotter.
