50 Series is great with 16GB of VRAM as long as you can get it at MSRP. Microcenter is great for this. I bought mine open box and I feel great about the deal I was able to get.

This board has enough memory to run the larger LLM's locally, and it is great for casual gaming. It's relatively small, so it fits in smaller cases. If you are a gamer, you would want a larger board with more fans and heatsinking to make the board run quieter, but for my usage this board is perfect.

I bought this for my girlfriend this weekend. I honestly do not understand why so many Youtube influencers are giving this card such a bad review. While it is not a 3080, it uses way less power and only requires an 8-pin power cable. In many games it performs close to a 3080, has better 1% lows, and with driver updates, performance should improve. In some benchmarks (like The Division), her scores are better. It really depends on the game! She was having some issues with Enshrouded on her 2080 Super, and this card fixed her issues. We have the same 1440p monitor and although she has a 5900x and a great x570E motherboard paired with this card, she is averaging about 15 FPS better than my STRIX 3080 (on a new 9900x3d and B650E motherboard). It really depends on the game! Her 1% lows are also much better.
