This was the most expensive lens I have ever bought. However, when it was delivered, it was obvious that the lens had already been used. The packaging was damaged, and the lens had been repacked very poorly. I briefly tested the lens. The quality of the photographs I took were very poor. Blurred and out of focus. Obviously, the lens had also been damaged. Previously, I have been impressed with Amazon, but not on this occasion. I’m pleased to say that I was given a full refund.

This is a great lens for taking portrait photographs. I'm using with a cropped frame camera so be prepared to step back to capture what you want in frame. Fast lens copes very well in low light so can help keep your ISO levels down. For video find it better for shooting still objects and setting the focus manually. I've had the lens since 2015 so has a robust build quality and will last. Great bokeh.
