Good Points: Beyonet fit. Slide in and out for fast deployment. Excellent. Improvement Points: No.

Good Points: As one would expect, it screws onto the lens it was designed for. What else can one say? Improvement Points: It's made of plastic, flexible plastic at that. I wish I had bought a much cheaper metal one (slightly different shape admittedly) from any Far East supplier, as I normally do, rather than paying for the Olympus name.

Good Points: This is a great lens hood. Very easy to use. Very smooth action. Makes it convenient for stowing away in my camera bag as there’s no twisting and reversing of a fixed hood. For an expensive lens it’s certainly peace of mind for protection. It *is* really blummin good! Improvement Points: There’s nothing with the lens hood itself that I dislike other than Olympus’ very high price point.

There are a few less expensive hoods available for my macro lens, but this one is well-built, sturdy, and nicely balanced. The lens is fully usable with the hood extended or retracted, so theres no need to ever remove it from the lens. A great buy.

Great fit. Does what it says it will. I dont like after market parts that sort of kind of fit. This is perfect, but expensive for a lens hood.
