Excellent image quality across the entire zoom range. Zoom ring is a little stiff, but works okay.

I think I'm going to love this lens,fills the gap between the 12-40 and 75-300. It is very light,compact and sharp. Works well on both cameras Olympus EM10 and EM1. Love the discounted price and free shipping.

It's a nice little lens. It is stabilized. It is surprisingly sharp in the center (for the price, that is). This being said, after trying to love it for a couple of months, I still eave it home most of the time and generally prefer taking with me a set of faster primes (including some old fully manual Nikkor lenses with adaptor). I guess its focal range is not that useful to me. I prefer either a lot wider or a lot longer. Except for the 50-60mm range (100-120mm equivalent), but I have a prime in that range. I don't knock one star off because the lens does not fit with my shooting preferences, but because it is a "focus by wire" lens, as I find it almost as annoying as "power zoom."

Stunning image quality, good IS and dimutive size makes this a great travel lens. Matched with my GM5 it's a great travel kit. Small aperture, a given compromise considering its specifications.

This is an excellent (if a bit pricey) lens. It's very sharp and has great contrast. Optically, I didn't find anything to complain about. The collapsible design also makes it tiny when stored, however it is an extra step when you turn on the camera. The f/4-5.6 aperture also limits its use to brighter settings. You also pay a bit for that size (and possibly optical quality), as other Lumix telephotos with much more range are also cheaper. Autofocus is about as fast as it gets. The build quality is fine. The focus ring is a bit small, but it zooms smoothly. There's not much to say on that front. Some of my best photos have come from this lens, and it feels right at home on smaller bodies. But try to get it cheap.
