Pentax F3.5-4.5 Ed Hd Da Kalansilmä 10-17 Mm

All the goodness from the old version, plus HD coatings, a nicer exterior finish and a nifty removable hood which makes it an (almost) circular fisheye on the K-1.

This is one of my primary-use lenses, especially for wide-angle landscapes. The build quality is great, at the same time very light, making handling a pleasure. The zoom operation is smooth and precise and stays in place once set. Autofocus is fast and not excessively noisy.

I received the lens today and this is a quick comparison review. I also have the SMC Pentax 17mm F4 Fish-Eye and compared that to the this new HD DA 10-17mm.

Excellent lens, a lens that you should not miss in your photographic equipment, I have a pentax KP, and although I just received the lens the little I have photographed has a great quality and without chromatic aberration.
