I used this adapter for my A6000 camera and mount it with sigma DC 17-70mm Macro HSM and canon 70-300mm IS USM lens and works just fine but the auto focusing is very slow. I recommend manual focusing when using this adapter. The picture quality is no difference when using this adapter as this don't have additional glass on it. Aperture and shutter works just fine when using the in camera settings. Please see my unedited straight from camera sample photos using this adapter with the Sigma 17-70mm lens. Hope this helps, :)

Recieved the item 3-4 weeks after order and fitted it to my canon24-70 f2.8 L lens and it worked great but then i went to take it off and try it on my canon 70-200 f4 L lens. It was very stiff and would only turn 1-2mm after the button was pressed in and then it was stuck hard, after many attempts at turning it back and forth the 1-2mm of movement I gave up contacted the seller and was advised to push the button in and give it a firm twist I(not much help). I put the lens away for a few days and came back to it this time when it twisted it it came free but one of the mount screws on the L lens was broken out of the the threaded hole, and would not screw back in, the gold contact points where badly scratched and part of adapter inner edge had filings of metal ground off it. DONT put expensive lenses on these adapters its not worth the risk. The seller hasn't responded to any of my recent emails with photos showing the damage should haev bought it on Ebay with Paypal!

Excellent adapter, works brill on my NEX 5N. AF works but is super slow as expected. MF is excellent with the Sony using the cameras focus peaking. Having a blast with this adapter and my Canon lenses, getting great results with my "Nifty Fifty" and 85mm 1.8.......... buy one, you won't regret it :-)

Received the adapter earlier than expected and proceeded to attach it to my newly purchased Sony a 6000 ( what a great little camera ) the tried all my Canon lenses and each one in turn operated as normal, the auto focus was much quicker than i thought it would be and the image quality was amazing. so now I can travel light with a small camera and use my Canon L lenses for that perfect shot.
