Good Points: Fantastic lens, well made and beautiful images from my Leica M and also on my Sony A7S II Improvement Points: I relatively large and almost identical to my Zeiss 50mm F2 so have be careful to make sure I pick up the right one but very minor issues

This is a fantastic piece of kit! I feel like both Leica lenses and Zeiss lenses are top tier and you can't go wrong with either one of them. I feel that the Biogon is easily equal to that of the Summicron 35 ASPH, given that I've used both extensively in a multitude of applications. Color reproduction is stellar and for those interested in bokeh, you won't be let down. You CANNOT go wrong with this lens!

i Have 50 F2 ZM which i love wasn't that impressed with this. but still would recommend if you want to save big $$ i was comparing against Leica Cron and it had no chance

Good Points: The lens was brought to make my Sony A7 a much more focussed machine. I have found the lens a really great addition to what is already a great camera. It is now much more compact and controlled for the candid photographer. Having the manual focus for me has made the camera so much more easier to use. It is quick, no faff. Still early days with the lens. But so far so good. Improvement Points: Would have been nice to have a lens hood with it. But that is not an issue with performance.
