Tried this after trying the rich version and it's just as great. I use this when I want light hydration so under makeup for example. Works amazingly and keeps my skin hydrated

Weleda Skin Food Light is a lightweight moisturiser that's designed to deliver rich hydration without the heavy, greasy feel of ultra‑thick creams. It's got the same nourishing botanicals as the original Skin Food but in a lovely formula that absorbs more quickly and feels more breathable on the skin. The texture feels soft, smooth and really light. It sinks into my skin fast and doesn't leave a sticky or oily film behind which is great if you want moisture that doesn't weigh you down. It's made with a wonderful blend of organic sunflower oil and soothing plant extracts like pansy, chamomile, and calendula which help keep the skin calm, soft and protected from dryness throughout the day.

This is my go to moisturiser & is the only moisturiser that I can safely use on my face without irritation. It took such a long time to find a suitable moisturiser for my very sensitive skin & I wouldn't consider using anything else. This cream lasts really well as a little goes a long way. It's soothing & cooling when I apply it & lasts throughout the day. I also love it's herbal aromatherapy-like natural smell as I feel like I'm applying something that is good for my skin. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend. It's a fantastic product & works so well for me. I'm so glad that I found it.

This is a really nice alternative to the original skin food. Its thinner consistency is something I personally prefer. It's not super thin so you can still feel something on your face, it does have a very strong smell. So if this is something you don't personally like, I'd avoid. Other than that, it's fab.
