Braun Series 5 51-M1000s saa kiitosta ergonomisesta otteesta, helposta puhdistuksesta ja AutoSense-teknologiasta. Akun kesto on pitkä ja pikalataus kätevä. Laite on täysin vedenkestävä. Haittoina ovat integroidun trimmerin puute, joustamaton ajopää ja matkakotelon puuttuminen. Hyvä valinta helppoon ylläpitoon, mutta ei paras paljon matkustaville tai joustavaa päätä kaipaaville.

I bought this Series 5 to replace my, still functioning earlier model 5 with trimmer & cleaning station. As the new 5 was double the price of a new cutter assembly for my old 5, I thought why not. I kept the old 5 as the new one has no trimmer, except as an accessory. The new 5's water proofing failed and I had to have it replaced with the flexible head Series 6, which is better. The long hair 'catcher' on the new 5/6 is not functioning as the old 5. The centre blade flattens the hair before it can be cut.
