Wacom INTUOS PRO L SOUTH

Recently purchased the Wacom Intuos Pro - Large from Takealot and am very satisfied with the product. For about 15 years I've been using the previous generation Wacom 12" tablet as a hobby artist with CorelDraw and Corel Painter. recently i decided to give my old Wacom (nothing wrong with it - mind you) to the son of one of my best friends who is embarking on a career in graphic art. This new device is just that little bit better! The drawing area is the same but the surround is smaller than the old model making it lighter and easier to store and handle. Pen sensitivity is superb and my old Intuos Spray paint and wedge pens work fine with the new Pro. This new tablet also has a very handy customizable Touch ring which the old one did not have. All in all not an earth-shattering upgrade from the old tablet but the improvements make it worth it.

You want size, we'll this right here it 1 big drawing tablet. It perfect.

I’ve been a longtime user of Wacom and have owned the medium version as well. I wasn’t sure about using the small version however it fits on my desk perfect and is wonderful to use. You get all the features of the pro version in a small form factor. A lightweight accurate pen that works perfectly with this tablet. You get more than what you pay in this case. They last for years and I really enjoy using them for my photo editing workflow.

Based on all the reviews about the pen nib not lasting, I was concerned that my nib would disintegrate after the first week of use. But I've been using it for 4 months for photo retouching. Brightening the eyes in wildlife, fading out branches, darkening or lightening areas of a landscape; the tablet performs When I first set up the tablet, I adjusted the pen pressure so that I could apply less pressure and achieve the same result, sacrificing some of the pen sensitivity. In Lightroom and Photoshop, I don't need to press hard to edit a photo, so there's no grinding of the nib or digging into the tablet While I did buy extra nibs, I'm still using the original one. The tablet itself is scratch-free. This tablet has been a win for me
