Mondaine Pocket Kello

I have owned and worn this watch now for 18 months. I like the overall design, it is very pleasing on the eye. The strap works nicely, it does not catch hairs as many do. The catch is is a bit iffy sometimes but overall it works well enough. However, the watch itself has a major problem. The design of the crown knob means that it keeps catching on clothing, especially pockets. This would not be too much of a problem if the crown locked but it gets pulled out, the watch stops or the time gets adjusted. The problem is so bad that eventually it caused the entire crown plus pin to get ripped out from the watch fortunately my wife found it on the floor of the shop where we were. Its a nice watch but I cant risk using it anymore and have reverted to my old Gucci. Mondaine, make the crown lock screw down or change the design of the crown so that the inner face of the crown is tapered and youve got a winner. Delivery and service from WatchShop were excellent.

Lovely watch, a 21st birthday gift for my nephew. Light, classic looking. The strap is very nice & great that you dont have to have links removed. Shipment etc was excellent.

If the gift receiver didnt like it then theres no doubt I would have it for myself!
