D-Link DWR-933 4G/LTE mokkula

To be very clear to potential future buyers, this review is for the DWR-2101 5G WiFi Hotspot. It didn't recognise EE or Vodafone 5G SIM Cards although all the specs say it should. The user guide and manual, and the FAQ,s on Amazon are for different products. D-Link website, no technical support guidance for this product at all. All I could find was the sales page. Raising a tech ticket wasn't too difficult though. Actual tech support - non-existent. Exchanged some emails with a rep (or a bot) that were quite pointless. They advised returning the device. So I have. No confidence in a replacement working. If you want to try your luck, go for it. Good Luck.

Stopped working after 2 uses. Before that it wasn’t working as described as it seems to be tuned in such a way that it gulps data faster than other similar products in the market.

Continually dropping the signal. Never had a router as bad. One min it works next your having to reconnect it. Very frustrating.

Worked really well for travelling with good signal strength. It does get quite hot though.

Good Points: So far so good as they say. I would have preferred to have the options of purchasing Data SIM cards at the same time as purchase the device so that was additional aggravation. Improvement Points: It works although the set up process could be better documented.
