The Wifi is fast, the basic setup easy with the app until you want to plug in a phone. Just will not have it no matter how I try had to rest the router twice as everything went slow, still do not have the phone connected. Then try and add storage to use it as a NAS, wasted the whole day trying different discs and different formats. Just gave up in the end. Go to the site for help and you need a degree to understand it, not written for the average person, So there it is.

I bought this router two weeks ago which is easy to set up.  But!! Once I set it up and try to access the internet,it tells me "no internet".  It took me a whole week to try to fix the problem with their tech support. Unfortunately, the problem can not be fixed and end up returning to Amazon!!!

Synology routers have a USB port to attach a disk in order to replace an Apple time machine. Doing so proved impossible. The vendor has several how-to videos and sites that do not reflect their current product.

Needed for my business for free wifi and gave me all the options I needed for setup. Best thing is I can do all this remotely

Setting up the router was effortless. It has some additional smarts like Threat Protection and if one has a NAS, it complements it well.
