TP-LINK Archer A8 - AC1900 MU-MIMO WiFi Reititin

The TP-Link AC1900 is a decent router for use in a multi-level home. It provides good top speeds and is suitable for fast downloads when you're close to it with few obstacles in the way. That said, it's a standalone router, and its range is just okay, so you'll experience slowdowns if you have a very large house and are far from where you've placed it.

Tp-Link Archer 8 Very nice unit. The set up instructions were quite bare. The video on the website was more thorough but didn't tell me what I needed to know. Tech support responded fairly quickly and told me I had to use a LAN port on my modem to the router. I was using the WAN port. Quite the simple fix and mostly me being rusty on my tech knowledge. Overall I would recommend this unit unless you really NEED a $200 one. But I have 7 devices and they all work good for streaming, gaming, etc

Works much better than the garbage provided by the cable company.

This has made a huge difference in my equipment speed and solid signals even under heavy use
