Tried on multiple packs before deciding on the Jade. Heading out early morning for an overnight, so just tried on my pack with all my gear…and the chest strap breaks off! Just noticed another review about the same issue, plus saw another pack in the store with a broken strap (didn’t realize then it was broken). Pack will be going back (sad face)

The Gregory Jade 53 is a ventilated backpack with an adjustable-length torso designed for women for multi-day trips. It’s a solid choice for a comfortable multi-day pack that will haul a pretty big load with ease.

Bought this for my daughter to start prep hikes for the AT. Nothing long-distance yet, but with the few short walks she did to get everything adjusted correctly, this pack seems to be a winner.

I don’t often write reviews, this might be my first ever. If you’re going to travel this is perfect backpack. I keep finding more things a love about it. I didn’t even know that it came with a day pack, the bottom compartment is perfect size for a 3-season tent, my hammock and it’s straps, and my camping towel. There’s even extra room. And you can choose to have this compartment be separate from the main one or not. The part for your easy-to-get items has everything one would need, the pockets on the waistband make everything easier—I could go on. It’s all so intuitive. Very much recommend.

I ordered this on a whim without seeing it in person and Gregory never fails. I use to have the Amber 60 which I traveled with through Europe and was perfect. I wanted something a bit smaller so this was perfect. It’s spacious and has lots of entry ports. Love the color.
