I use Fuji X and Nikon Z cameras and travel via air regularly. The Photo Essentials Backpack holds all the gear and lenses I need including a MeFoto travel tripod that I break down. The bag will fit in regional jets and also under the seat if there is no room available in the overhead compartments. It even fits in a 12 passenger single-engine airplane! while it is a backpack, it is excellent for safely taking your gear from place to place.

I picked this up for a 5-day gig in Lebanon. I had never travelled with gear before. This bag was stellar on all aspects. I managed to fit the following : C100, disassembled handle and grip Tokina 11-16 Zeiss 50mm Zeiss 135mm GH5 + 12-35mm GH5 charger + 5 batteries 2 Canon chargers + cables + 4 canon C100 batteries 2 travel sized external HDs 15 inch MacBook Pro + charger 2 small audio recorders + mics Rode videomic pro Random cables, SD card pelican case & a bunch of odds and ends. Bag was heavy but it never felt like it was overfilled. Fit under the seat of every flight I had. Very solidly built, handles and straps felt strong and comfortable. I especially like the little top pocket for your passport. Kept all my gear in perfect shape and so I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a smallish travel gear bag.

I wanted a bag for air travel and that would accommodate a DSLR plus 3 pro lenses. In addition, I wanted a bag that allowed carrying a tripod on the side. This bag met these requirements. It is well constructed. The only thing missing, and not available as an accessory, is a water bottle holder so I will have to improvise for that.

Bought this to attach to my motorcycle so I can safely carry my gear and have easy access when I need to shoot. Only wish is was an inch taller so I can keep my EOS 1DX with the 70-200 in it ready to go. But my 5d Mark Mark II fits perfect with the lens. Plenty of room for another body( no lens attached) and a couple of lenses

I was looking for a backpack to compliment my roller carry on, load with uw photo equipment. It had to be small to fit under the "personal item" category of the airlines. It was a perfect match.
