the ventilation system feels good but kinda akward to carry. weight is average, feels a bit heavy. good quality tho seems it will last and the ventilation keeps my back less sweaty --- review of an older model ---

While the pack is great in many ways, the plastic panel in the back to adjust the height of the pack jabs into my shoulder blades.

Took this on the Camino de Santiago trek in northern spain. Held up beautifully and is well designed for storing all sorts of gear. Highly recommend for serious hikers.

My newest small backpack, has failed me, after less then a month. some stitches are open, one of the cord puller fell, to sum it up: poor craftmenship. Beside all that, there are some design flaws that made me write this review: 1. the zippers, aee fine toothed and it is hard to turn the backpack to the front ond open/close them with one hand only, the same goes for both hipbelt pockets... not good! 2.the water bottels pockets, are not big enough, nor designed well. when the pack is full it is very hard to get a nelgene 1.5 liter bottle ib them.. 3. the lower compartment is a bit too small.. atleast for me.. would return it in a heaetbeat!

I’m loving my new pack. I carry it with ease. I’m 65 and have had back problems in the past (who hasn’t?), so I’m cautious with carrying. This pack is proving to be a winner. Easy to carry but most importantly incredibly comfortable! So many nooks and crannies to stuff full, as I did recently as I travelled in the UK, picking up gifts for grandchildren. I’m back in Australia and suspect my family will be borrowing my pack and using it as much as I will. Good service in Edinburgh store. Thanks from Rosie , Sydney Australia
