Dr. Hauschka Defining Mascara 02 Brown

Very nice healthy looking lashes, dark,soft and delicate.Very light.It’s more like a lash enhancer .Stays without smudging. Washes off with regular water and cleanser.If you are looking for a natural day time look it’s a very nice product.

I really like this mascara. I despite Dr Hauschka as a skincare brand because of their unscientific claims and harmful products (many contain denatured alcohol and fragrant, allergenic ingredients), but this mascara works great for me. My eyelashes are fairly sparse and thin, and mascaras with big brushes tend to make a mess. This defining mascara has a very, very thin wand. Many won't like it, but for me it's perfect. The mascara itself is nice - it's not in the "false lash" category but I prefer a natural look. It can go a little clumpy if you apply too much, but I usually brush through with a clean wand anyway to separate the lashes. The only reason I've taken off a lippy is that it has quite a strong rose fragrance. I suspect it's natural rose oil or something like that, but nobody needs fragrance in a mascara. Nevertheless, I have this in both black and brown, and I will buy again when I run out.
