The red plastic handle knob is cheaply made. Mine has broken. If you don't fold yours away then this won't be an issue. Once it breaks though you're out of luck. Mower becomes unusable.

GARDENA products in my opinion are perfect. And i have so many of their items. But these mowers are usless if your grass and land is not perfect. Little uneven surface or thicker grass and is cutting a like dull knife with crazy uneven cut of the grass. Much much cheaper one here do the better job and make stripes too. I think these mowers are only thing gardena made not for everyone

Bought this in 2020 and good at first but the thread has gone on the handle adjustment, for the price it should not be a orange plastic screw adjustment to tighten if handle height adjustment is needed. This lost the tread after only two years so fixed with a bolt and even with the bolt still doesn't hold the handle for my height. Every time I push the lawnmower forward the handle pushed forward too rendering the lawnmower inoperable. Very disappointed as it cost over £160.
