Great strimmer. 5Ah battery let's me get all the garden strimmed and still has loads of power left. I've always used petrol strimmers and still have a Stihl brush cutter which is great for very heavy clearing. The Dewalt is perfect for a garden and so much easier to use than petrol or corded strimmers. I also love the way it folds for easy transportation.

Bought this to do a hard job and wouldn't have been too disappointed if it couldn't of managed it but it far out performed my expectations. Apart from the cord breaking the whole job went very well. It was easy to sort the cord out. I already had another 5amp battery so I thought that I had enough battery power to complete the job but even the battery it came with exceeded my expectations, after I read other reviews I thought this was it's weakness but not so in my case.

Works well and a precise cut too. It just about fits in my biggest backpack when folded and is very lightweight. Perfect for taking to my allotment on my bicycle! One battery (from my Dewalt drill) seems just enough power to run the strimmer for about 30 - 40 mins depending on the speed setting. Plenty enough to keep my plot looking neat and tidy! I am very pleased with this machine! :)

How did I manage without this DeWalt Trimmer?! So easy to pick-up and switch on. Solid. Fairly heavy but runs for 20 mins on an 4A battery. Very Happy. Complements my petrol Stihl trimmer.
