DeWalt Katkaisu- ja jiirisaha DWS773

I only bought this DEWALT Saw on the 28th May 2026 so haven’t used it yet but it seems a robust piece of kit and is compact not taking up too much space for moving around. Easy to set up and looking forward to to using it for some DiY work

The quality and use of this saw is 5 star, but. 1: the saw is advertised as having a 30 tooth blade, but the saw comes with a 24 tooth blade. Don't know if this is a Dewalt issue or wrong information not the ScrewFix website. 2: the material clamp on this saw is really poor. I would have expected better from Dewalt. 3: I appreciate that you need to check and, if necessary adjust the blade. One of the blade axis was off a mile, don't know how it got past quality control like that. 4: this was my first mitre saw, and found the manual really poor. This is maybe what happens when there is only graphics used rather than any words. Having said all of the above, I really like this saw and I'm glad it's part of the tools in my workshop.

My mitre saw was very heavy and whilst it had all the bells and whistles it was cumbersome to set up quickly. The Dewalt mitre saw is very portable, accurate and gives a beautiful cut. I’d highly recommend this saw for skirting and architrave as the bevel adjustment is easy to setup. There’s no laser but that can be a bit gimmicky and the guard handle allows for seeing where your blade will cut.. what is really useful is the fact that the slide for the blade doesn’t go back further than the base so if you mount this on your workbench you won’t suddenly have to contend with your workshop wall. In all a reliable and accurate saw that is well worth the money. Go on treat yourself you won’t regret it.

All my tools are now DeWalt good quality and valve and this saw is also excellent. Light portable and good cutting size just what I wanted.

This a very versatile tool and has not disappointed.
