I can't say I have been able to use this every minute of the day but the build quality tells me you could. I had an older one going back 12 years and parts of that were of poor design and quality though it's still going strong without the saftey guard which I would not recommend, I see this saw as being much better. The cuts are spot on though you could do with a blade with more teeth for that super clean cut, this is true of all these saws not just this one. In my view a great tool that can take some hammer, good value even with the large courier charge for living abroard.

I am a big makita fan but brought this for some second fit carpentry on a job in Cornwall. The instructions are a little odd and the saw takes a little getting used to but so far has given excellent service. Given the price difference between this and the Makita, I feel I made the right decision.

The saw copes well with everything I have asked of it so far, as I am only doing D.I.Y jobs. A professional might have different needs from saw.
