I've used The 9400 edition for over 2 years (hx9917) it just does a great job. I recall it took a while for me to get used to the higher frequency vibrations on my teeth. But don't notice it any more. I unfortunately my unit did break which was replaced free of charge under my after care. Yay.. but whilst I was waiting for the replacement I have to go back to an older oral b brush I had.. only at this point did I truly appreciate the difference and superiority of this sonicare brush.. thank you philips.. customer for life

It's good don't get me wrong but I find the heads are very large so hard to reach the back of your mouth,Considering the price I would expect a bit more from the toothbrush although it does clean very well once you get used to just how powerful the vibration is, it would be nice if there was a smaller possibly round or oval shaped head available (like my previous oral b) as that seemed a much more convenient size for harder to reach areas. The app is more of a gimmick that I used 2/3 times at the beginning but not much after a month or 2 and it doesn't always detect the correct position you are at, the area timer also doesn't really give enough time on each area to get all around the teeth,
