[Employee of philipsglobal] This was a replacement. The battery literally last three days max. The last one I had lasted at least five days when on a normal clean setting. Great features but disappointed.

I’m on my second 7900, within 3 years. Both times the ball socket attached to the metal pin that fixes the toothbrush head has come loose. First time out this happened within 12 months and I was sent a replacement under the warranty. 2nd time was after 29 months, so outside of the warranty period. The toothbrush still works, but is less effective and is very noisy. Having read some otehr reviews it appears as if this is a design flaw, so I’m a bit surpised that Philips have not addressed this.It’s a decent product otherwise, but I’d expect it to have a longer shelf life, not least given the substantial cost.

The first time I bought this product was 3 years ago. Generally good performance in the first year but has needed to be replaced by Phillips twice since the initial purchase due to the metal pin becoming loose.

Great intense brushing best in class. It is better than an. Other brush I tried. However I had around 3 over the last 4 years as the head very quickly wears when using it on travel the head needs to be taken off frequently and comes loose . Also water can get into the inside and the brush is then defective .

I like the three settings. However I have caps and crowns with several gaps and fillings, so I need to be careful not to knock any off. Obviously the timing does not suit me as I don’t have a full complement of teeth.
