Normally I'm pretty anti Bosch but I decided to chance my arm on this one. I havent used the hammer action and dont intend to as I have dedicated hammer drills but so far this drill has worked perfectly and I'm pleasantly surprised . Comes with a nice case too.

Really well thought out drill. Well worth the extra over Bosch green drills.

Bought this non-SDS drill to use with the Souber Morticer which does not use SDS or battery powered drills. Required about 3000 rpm (SDS is about half this rate) , normal chuck (in this case keyless) and good power. Of course there is no point in buying a general tool to do one job so went for the hammer action, power, and metal gear housing.

The item came with a Chinese plug, which clearly does not work in an American receptacle. Also, the gears in the motor are plastic. - Even the depth gauge was plastic.
