This is one of the best drills out there. Immense torque makes it useful in pretty much all applications. Trigger pressure is perfect and it controls the speed as well. This is a high quality drill that will last for many years, if not decades. Excellent product.

Simply put, this is one great 1/2" drill. I bought this drill specifically because I needed a drill that would go through rail road cross ties to drive rebar in. The Hitachi D!3VG did the job! Be aware: hold on tight, or it will twist your wrist if you don't!

This is a very high quality product. I have been used to using Milwaukee products for years and after using this for several weeks on a remodeling job I can attest to it's high torque capabilities of powering through 50+ year old 2 x structural lumber. It is also lighter and a bit more comfortable than a Milwaukee Hole Shooter. A word of caution, absolutely heed the instruction to use the handle and this is a bit breaking machine if you decide to use reduced shank bits. What would bog down lesser drill motors will result in either powering through the material, winding you up(if you don't use the handle) or breaking the bit(with ease). I like this drill and would definitely recommend it for those tough jobs.

Without going to a large right angle drill or hole-hawg you're not going to get more powerful than this. I've given mine a serious workout with large hole-saws, self feed auger bits, large metal drill bits, and driving lag bolts. Nothing is a problem. Need more power? Press the trigger down a little further. Just watch out, if the bit binds up its you that's going for the ride...
