My use is around the house. Battery charges in less then an hour, holds charge for a good length of time. Clutch works great, I use the lower speed for more torque. Be careful when going from pistol grip to straight stick, you can pinch your hand (between thumb & index finger) at the pivot point. I recommend this product & buy it again.

It’s more powerful and tougher than the usual cordless driver. Being Makita, I expect it really. Usually this driver is very pricy, but this one was low enough to not be Just crazy to buy. I’ve used a few brand name drivers professionally over the years and this one is by far the best.

I like that it’s light weight and powerful! The only draw back that I think is a big miss is that the handle doesn’t lock in place when you have it straight or at an angle. But I am overall happy with the purchase.

I use this for low torque applications with great success. Nice adjustment at chuck. I suspect those with heavier duty tasks may find the batteries a bit light (but there are 2). My biggest complaint is the activation switch. I prefer a trigger pull instead of this thumb actuated switch.

I currently use a DeWalt gyroscopic cordless screwdriver. Thought the Makita would be an improvement. Nope. The forward/reverse switch is difficult to use, the torque and spin did not live up to advertised specs, returned it immediately. Sticking with DeWalt because I use this in my work and need something I can use to save time and energy
