Heti ensimmäisellä käyttökerralla lankun syöttö alkoi pätkiä, ja jäljestä epätasaista. Ei jaksanut kestopuista kakkosnelosta imeä sisäänsä vaikka sitä kannatteli parhaan taitonsa mukaan. Tämän jälkeen sama ongelma toistui kaiken muunkin kanssa. Tulos ei käy höylätystä. Iso pettymys.

I've got this mounted to a cart for shop work and it works great for me. I use the Dewalt version as a portable tool but this one gets the most time on it. Very clean cuts and smooth adjustments. Adjusted out feed table slightly out of box but it has held it 100%

This planner is so quiet that I can use it without ear protection without out noise irratation. Also this planner never gums up, I used to have a dewalt 3 blade planner that would bind up because saw dust would get caught in the chain. This planner uses threaded rods to raise and lower the planning head, and saw duse will never gum up in it. Honestly best table top planner I've ever used, and it handles everything I do with ease. I've put lots of reclaimed wood, and hard woods like white oak and hickory through this work horse of a planner. I've had my planner for 2 years now, and I still haven't had any problems.

I bought this mainly because of the low noise advertisement, although I don't have another planer to compare to, the noise level is certainly acceptable from the outside of my insulated garage. I'm sure that if I decide to invest in a Byrd shelix cutter head it'd be even more quiet (please let me know if anyone has done this). The automated head clamp seems to work well since I get 0 snipe most of the time. When I do get snipe its usually because the board is too heavy and isn't well supported. The finish is super smooth.
